Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita is set to undergo a major seven-month transformation to refresh its design and enhance its offerings, marking a new chapter since its 2008 debut.
Starting March 31, 2025, the resort will temporarily close to undertake a comprehensive renovation, blending coastal charm with tropical elegance across its 26-acre property on Mauritius’ lush east coast.
General Manager Martin Dell expressed excitement for the upgrade, emphasizing a shift toward a more contemporary experience rooted in Mauritius’ natural beauty. Key changes include revamped interiors with earthy tones, brighter spaces, dynamic dining concepts, and enhanced wellness and conservation initiatives, all designed to evoke timeless island living.
The London-based design firm 1508 London leads the renovation, focusing on natural elements, textured fabrics, and light-filled spaces inspired by the resort’s tropical surroundings. Hamish Brown, a partner at the firm, highlighted the goal of celebrating Mauritius’ culture and landscape while delivering the luxury synonymous with Four Seasons.
The project, supported by the resort’s owner Riveo Hospitality Ltd., is expected to conclude by early November 2025, when guests will be welcomed back to a reimagined retreat that harmonizes refined elegance with the island’s natural beauty.
