Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai is infusing sustainability into the holiday season with a lineup of activities throughout December.
From festive dining to the annual Christmas tree lighting, the resort emphasizes community engagement and artisan craftsmanship. “Our Christmas tree highlights the skilled artistry Chiang Mai is known for,” says Sean Mosher, General Manager.

This year’s tree, led by Chief Gardener Pondkaran Kantha, features handcrafted macramé ornaments. “Macramé is both creative and calming,” Pondkaran explains, adding that the idea came from sharing her craft with the team.
Guests can even join the fun by creating ornaments, which are also available for purchase, with proceeds supporting Wat Don Chan School, an orphanage that fosters underprivileged children.
The tree lighting on December 23, 2024, at Lan Sai Village kicks off the festivities, followed by a Christmas Eve Dinner and Christmas Day brunch at Rim Tai Kitchen, and a barbecue platter at North. “We’re excited to share the season of giving and joy,” Sean adds.
