Frieze London returns from October 9 to 13, 2024, and Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is marking the occasion with a special collaboration with artist Chris Levine.

Known for his innovative use of light and technology, Levine is best recognized for his iconic light-based portraits of Queen Elizabeth II, as well as subjects like Kate Moss and Elton John.

Starting October 9, the hotel will exhibit six new portraits by Levine, featuring prominent British artists Cornelia Parker, David Shrigley, Daniel Lismore, Yinka Shonibare, Rana Begum, and Rachel Whiteread.

These works, on display until the end of the month, are uniquely customized with hand-drawn elements and microcrystals, following Levine’s recognizable style. Alongside the new portraits, some of his renowned pieces, such as Lightness of Being (Queen Elizabeth II) and She’s Light (Kate Moss), will also be featured.

The hotel lobby will showcase Levine’s immersive light-based work Light is Love, which uses technology to reveal images only visible in peripheral vision.

In addition to the exhibition, the hotel is offering exclusive Frieze-themed tours for guests, including:

  • Frieze Contemporary: A two-hour private tour of contemporary artworks (GBP 650 for two).
  • Frieze Master: A two-hour tour featuring Old Masters and 20th-century art (GBP 650 for two).
