Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is inviting guests to embrace the excitement of the Summer Games with a range of enticing experiences inspired by the magic and iconic charm of Paris.
Celebrated artist Richard MacDonald is bringing a retrospective exhibition to the hotel, offering an in-depth look at his five-decade artistic journey through “The Art of The Athlete.” Starting from his early days as a freelance illustrator for NFL, Coca-Cola USA, Disney, and numerous Games, his work culminates in the monumental piece “The Flair” from 1996. MacDonald’s talent for capturing movement and grace has earned him acclaim, and this exhibition highlights his transition from two-dimensional illustrations to striking three-dimensional sculptures. The exhibit features unseen drawings, studies from past Games, and an impressive half-sized bronze gymnast adorned with 24-carat gold. MacDonald’s work is a celebration of both artistic and athletic achievements, reflecting on human triumphs in the modern era.
Veranda, the hotel’s signature restaurant, is debuting a special Parisian-inspired menu of weekly dinner specials. Executive Chef Michael Goodman has curated a culinary journey featuring dishes that blend textures and flavors exquisitely. Highlights include the Salade Landaise with cured duck breast, torn baguette crouton, heirloom cherry tomato, seasonal chicorée, and poppy seed bistro vinaigrette. The Sockeye Salmon Tartare combines king crab, ruby grapefruit, creamy avocado mousse, and a delicate gaufrette potato crisp, offering a refreshing start. Pan Seared Diver Scallops are served with chanterelle ravigote, grilled Belgium endive, local asparagus, and crispy parsnip, creating a harmonious balance of earthy and savory elements. The Pan Roasted Muscovy Duck with tender haricot vert, confit fingerling potato, grilled nectarine mustard, and a rich cherry duck glace promises a robust and flavorful main course.
For dessert, guests can indulge in specialties like the Flan Parisien, with vanilla bean flan and puff pastry crust accompanied by fresh berry compote. The Paris Brest delights with pâte à choux, hazelnut praline mousseline, milk chocolate hazelnut crisp, sea salt caramel sauce, and banana dulce de leche gelato, offering a symphony of textures and flavors. The Warm Chocolate Soufflé enchants with its classic preparation and crème anglaise, while the Strawberry Rhubarb Tart, featuring vanilla sugardough, almond frangipane, toasted meringue, and raspberry sorbet, is a treat. To cap off the Parisian-inspired dining experience, the Tarte au Chocolat, showcasing 70% dark chocolate paired with vanilla bean gelato, is a must-try.
At PRESS Lounge, guests can sip on cocktails inspired by the Paris Summer Games. The Champ De Baies Royale blends Lallier Champagne with the fruity sweetness of Crème de Cassis and fresh berries, capturing the elegance of the City of Love. For those desiring a more intimate experience, Lallier Champagne by the bottle offers a crisp and luxurious flavor profile. The Citrus Olympiad, combining Courvoisier VS Cognac with Aperol, lemon juice, strawberry, pomegranate, and a mint garnish, embodies the zest and excitement of the Games. The Champion’s Elixir melds the rich flavors of Uncle Nearest Rye Whiskey and Hennessy VS Cognac, with Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth adding complexity and Bénédictine providing herbal notes and a hint of sweetness.
Enhancing the Parisian ambiance, the hotel features a special photo wall sponsored by Lallier Champagne, capturing the romantic allure of Paris and offering a perfect backdrop for memorable moments during their stay.
