Since its inception in 1981, the Restaurant Awards have been the only global program focused exclusively on restaurant wine service. The awards are distributed across three tiers: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence, and the Grand Award. This year, there were 2,150 winners for the Award of Excellence, 1,531 for the Best of Award of Excellence, and 96 for the Grand Award.
