This fall, the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is launching a new Afternoon Tea experience, beginning September 6, 2024. The tea service will be available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, offering a luxurious way to spend an afternoon in the scenic Onyx Bar & Lounge. The venue provides guests with breathtaking panoramic views of the desert and valley, making it an ideal setting for this seasonal indulgence.
The experience kicks off with a delightful array of scones, served with clotted cream, Arizona marmalade, berry compote, and honey whipped butter, setting the tone for a sophisticated afternoon. The savoury offerings are equally impressive, featuring dishes like Potato Latke topped with Crème Fraiche, Chive, and Osetra Caviar, a Dungeness Crab Roll nestled in an organic butter roll, and a rich Cognac Duck Terrine.

The sweet selections, curated by Executive Pastry Chef Yudith Bustos, are the centerpiece of the tea. Among the highlights are the Beehive, which combines coconut mousse and honey cake with passionfruit caviar; the Onyx, a decadent creation of chocolate mousse, salted caramel, and hazelnut crunch; the Cactus, offering a southwestern flair with prickly pear and cheesecake mousse; and the Sunset, a refreshing mix of citrus cream, seasonal fruit, and meringue.
To complement these sweet and savoury delights, guests can choose from an extensive selection of over ten loose leaf teas. The menu includes distinctive blends such as Earl Grey Lavender, Lemon Ginger, Rose Hawthorn Pu’er, Blue Jasmine, and Chilean Cranberry Citrus.
“We are thrilled to introduce our seasonal Afternoon Tea at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale,” said General Manager Kelley Moreton. “Inspired by the unique beauty of the Sonoran Desert, this new offering blends the traditional elegance of Afternoon Tea with flavors and elements that reflect the natural splendor of our surroundings. We’re excited to offer our guests a unique and memorable experience this season.”
With just one seating available each day from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, reservations are required. The experience is priced at USD 80 per adult and USD 40 per child, offering an elegant yet accessible way to enjoy the beauty and flavors of the desert.
