From March 16-21, 2025, Four Seasons Resort Lanai invites guests to celebrate ocean life with a week of immersive activities on land and sea.
Marine Adventures & Expert-Led Tours
Guests can embark on snorkel sails (March 17, 19, 20) and whale-watching tours (March 18), joined by marine specialists like Kristin Belew and Captain Chris Stoehr.
These experts will share insights into Hawaiian marine life, ocean health, and local legends while guiding guests through encounters with dolphins, whales, and vibrant underwater ecosystems. Each excursion includes lunch and beverages.

For those seeking a more hands-on experience, special fishing and scuba charters aboard Lanai I, a 50-foot catamaran, will be available on March 20 and 22. Open to six guests (ages 12+), these trips include equipment, refreshments, and expert guidance. (Scuba charters require certification.)
Marine Conservation & Research
The resort also supports groundbreaking marine research in Hulopoe Bay, a Marine Protected Area. Guests can engage with scientists Elizabeth Madin and Zackery Rago from the Hawai‘i Institute of Marine Biology, learning about predator-prey interactions and even participating in experiments at the beach.

Rago, known for his work in the award-winning Netflix documentary Chasing Coral, will introduce a special screening of the film on March 19 at 6:00 pm at Hale Keaka, Lanai’s beautifully restored historic cinema.
Interactive Learning & Cultural Experiences
The Hawai‘i Institute of Marine Biology team will lead tide pool walks, talk story sessions, and evening presentations on reef health and conservation.

This celebration reflects Four Seasons Resort Lanai’s commitment to sustainability, cultural preservation, and environmental stewardship. Guests can take part in these meaningful experiences while enjoying the island’s natural beauty and rich heritage.
