Hilton has announced the international debut of its lifestyle brand Tempo by Hilton with the signing of Tempo by Hilton Belfast City Centre, marking the brand’s first property outside the U.S.

Opening in late 2026 through a franchise agreement with Loughview Leisure Group, the hotel will transform a vacant office space into a 144-room, wellness-focused retreat in the heart of Belfast.

Designed for modern, ambitious travellers, the hotel will feature wellbeing-centric amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness centre with Technogym and Precor equipment, hydration stations, and in-room fitness gear on request.

Guest rooms will offer Origins bathroom amenities, ‘Get Ready Zones’ with vanity mirrors and workspace areas, and access to the Calm app for wind-down routines.

Located near the Cathedral Quarter and just minutes from Belfast City Hall, the hotel will be well-positioned for both business and leisure guests. It also offers strong connectivity, being just a 7-minute drive from George Best City Airport and 25 minutes from Belfast International Airport.

This launch comes as part of Hilton’s broader expansion in Northern Ireland, where three more properties are expected in 2025—including DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square and The Marcus Portrush—effectively doubling the group’s presence in the region within the next year.

Guests at the Belfast Tempo will have access to Hilton Honors, allowing them to earn and redeem points, enjoy member-exclusive benefits, and streamline their stay through digital check-in and room selection.

Chris Kearney of Loughview Leisure Group emphasized the project’s role in enhancing Belfast’s global appeal, saying the partnership with Hilton reflects a shared vision for elevating the city’s hospitality offering.
