The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills has announced that its acclaimed coastal Italian restaurant, Culina Ristorante and Caffè, has received prestigious recognition for its wine program as part of Wine Spectator’s 2024 Restaurant Awards, which honor the finest restaurants worldwide for their wine offerings.
“We are thrilled that Culina Ristorante and Caffè has been acknowledged by the esteemed Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards this year,” expressed David Wilkie, General Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. “This accolade highlights our team’s unwavering dedication to crafting an exceptional wine program that elevates our guests’ dining experiences, and it serves as a testament to our commitment to excellence.”

Culina Ristorante and Caffè has earned the Best of Award of Excellence, which is awarded to restaurants whose wine lists exhibit remarkable breadth across various winegrowing regions and/or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation.
The impressive wine list at Culina, curated by Alfredo Sanchez, Director of Beverage, features over 500 meticulously selected bottles designed to complement coastal Italian cuisine. While primarily focused on Italian wines, the extensive list also embraces Italy’s rich diversity and culture. It includes a wide selection of small-production wines from the world’s top wine-growing regions, bottles from female and minority-owned vintners, and wines from producers committed to supporting their local communities.
“The restaurant industry is flourishing, with new restaurant openings surpassing pre-pandemic levels for the first time,” remarked Marvin R. Shanken, Editor and Publisher of Wine Spectator. “Restaurateurs are reinvesting in their wine programs to capitalize on this growth. Restaurants that prioritize wine are at the heart of the Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards program. I’m delighted to congratulate all 3,777 restaurants recognized for their dedication to wine and exemplary wine lists.”
Launched in 1981, the Restaurant Awards are the world’s only program exclusively dedicated to restaurant wine service. Awards are given at three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence, and the Grand Award, with 2,150, 1,531, and 96 winners in each category, respectively, this year.
