This winter, Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC invites guests and locals to celebrate the holiday season with its cherished “Light Up The Season” tradition. From dazzling decor to heartwarming experiences, the Hotel offers opportunities to indulge, give back, and revel in festive magic while supporting Children’s National Hospital’s impactful work.
Light Up The Season
For the 8th year, the Hotel collaborates with Children’s National Hospital to raise funds for their Reason To Believe Campaign through this beloved initiative. Renowned decorator Tom Kehoe will transform the Hotel lobby with vignettes inspired by eight young patients, bringing their holiday dreams to life.

With warm tones and metallic accents, the display beautifully captures their stories, hobbies, and personalities, offering a heartwarming blend of glamour and meaning.
Teddy Bear Teas
On Saturdays, December 7, 14, and 21, 2024, the Hotel will host its festive Teddy Bear Tea. Guests will enjoy elevated holiday high tea with tea sandwiches, scones, petits fours, and beverages like tea, cider, or sparkling wine. A candy station, live entertainment, guest performers, and a visit from Santa complete the experience.
In partnership with Mattel and the Founders Auxiliary Board, every child attending will receive a special gift, with matching donations made to hospital patients. Mattel will also donate a collection of iconic toys to Children’s National, and one lucky guest will receive a surprise holiday gift. A percentage of proceeds from the teas will benefit Children’s National Hospital, building on last year’s donation of over $30,000.
Bourbon Steak
At Bourbon Steak DC, guests can sip the West Indian Limeade mocktail, a refreshing blend of lime, ginger, and bitters, crafted by Lead Bartender Engidawork Alebachew. A portion of proceeds supports the Reason To Believe Campaign, allowing patrons to toast to the season while giving back to the local community.
The Spa
The Hotel’s reimagined spa will offer a Soothing Peppermint Massage, a seasonal treatment featuring peppermint oils and a foaming mint scrub. Designed to rejuvenate the senses, a portion of proceeds from this bespoke experience will also benefit Children’s National.
