American Airlines AAdvantage® and World of Hyatt are expanding their loyalty partnership in 2025, offering members new ways to redeem miles and points for personalized travel rewards.

American Airlines AAdvantage® program and World of Hyatt have announced an expansion of their partnership to offer more rewards for their members, starting in January 2025.

AAdvantage® members will be able to redeem miles for World of Hyatt awards, while World of Hyatt members can choose AAdvantage® rewards as part of their Milestone Rewards.

This partnership will allow members to personalize their travel experiences, linking their accounts to unlock a wider range of options across both programs.

Anmol Bhargava, American Airlines’ VP of Partnerships, emphasized how the collaboration enhances loyalty benefits, allowing members to redeem miles for Hyatt stays and other valuable rewards. Hyatt’s VP of Global Marketing, Laurie Blair, added that the changes respond to travelers’ desires for more choices and flexible rewards.

From January 2025, AAdvantage® members will be able to redeem miles for Hyatt Free Night Awards at various loyalty point levels, while World of Hyatt members can select AAdvantage® benefits like seat upgrades and status upgrades, depending on their tier.

This expanded partnership comes with several key benefits for linked members, though the option to earn AAdvantage® miles and Hyatt Bonus Points simultaneously will end by December 31, 2024.
