Accor has entered exclusive talks with Royal Holiday Group to acquire 17 hotel management contracts, totaling 3,200 keys, across Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. The $79 million deal, paid in installments, will partly fund a $130 million renovation over 30 months.
The portfolio includes six all-inclusive resorts in Mexico (1,660 keys) set to be managed by Ennismore, with the rest (1,540 keys) to be operated by Accor PM&E Americas.

Three properties in Cancun, Cozumel, and Puerto Vallarta will be rebranded as Rixos—marking the brand’s debut in the Americas—while others will become Swissôtel, Mercure, Mercure Living, or ibis Styles.
The acquisition bolsters Accor’s presence in the Americas and supports its growing all-inclusive segment, which has seen a 25% CAGR over the past three years. The deal is expected to close in H2 2025, pending regulatory approvals.
