IHG® Hotels & Resorts has signed a management deal with Gauri Resort & Banquet Services to debut Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hapur, set to open in 2027.
This move is part of IHG’s broader strategy to strengthen its footprint across India, especially in high-potential markets like Hapur in the National Capital Region of Uttar Pradesh.
Once complete, the hotel will offer 120 modern rooms, an all-day dining venue, business center, meeting space, fitness facilities, and ample parking.

It will also be part of a larger development featuring over 75,000 sq ft of space for MICE and social events, positioning it as a key venue for both business and leisure travelers.
Recognized globally for redefining smart travel since 1990, Holiday Inn Express is IHG’s fastest-growing brand, with more than 3,200 properties worldwide. The Hapur property aims to deliver that same seamless, efficient experience tailored to today’s traveler.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director for South West Asia at IHG, noted that the hotel’s location on NH 9, with strong access to nearby business hubs like Ghaziabad and Meerut, makes it ideal for catering to both corporate and leisure guests. The presence of large MICE facilities will further boost its appeal in the region.
Speaking on the partnership, Mrs. Pallavi Bhardwaj and Ms. Gauri Bhardwaj, Managing Partners at Gauri Resort & Banquet Services, expressed confidence in the project’s potential to meet modern travel demands by combining IHG’s global standards with deep local knowledge.
As Hapur continues to grow as an industrial hub, this hotel will support rising business travel demand. IHG currently operates 47 hotels across India and has an additional 60 in the pipeline, including properties under brands like Six Senses, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, voco, and Holiday Inn.
