IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding its footprint in the UK & Ireland with the signing of eight new hotels, adding over 900 rooms in key cities like Leeds, London, and Reading.
The latest additions span multiple brands, including Hotel Indigo and Crowne Plaza, as well as the market’s first Garner hotels, which launched 18 months ago as part of IHG’s Essentials collection.
With 362 hotels currently open and 25 more in the pipeline, IHG is strengthening its position in a market that saw UK hotel investment reach a five-year high in 2024, according to Cushman & Wakefield.

“High demand for our brands, strong partnerships, and innovation in our hotel offerings continue to make IHG a top choice for owners, guests, and colleagues alike. London, in particular, is seeing healthy expansion, setting us up for long-term success.”
