This spring, Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale introduces Heart of the Desert, a resort-wide celebration of the Sonoran Desert’s beauty and culture.
Running from March 8 to May 31, 2025, the event offers immersive experiences, culinary delights, wellness activities, and interactive events that highlight the desert’s unique charm.

At the heart of the celebration is the Onyx Bar & Lounge Pop-Up, a desert-inspired retreat in collaboration with The Lost Explorer. From March 7 to May 31, guests can enjoy artisanal cocktails, exclusive tastings, and live experiences surrounded by desert-themed décor.
Highlights include:
- Echoes of the Desert Opening Dinner (March 8) – A five-course menu by Executive Chef Andrew Whiteside, exploring food scarcity themes with cocktail pairings. USD 110 per person.
- Agave Ritual Tastings (March 7, April 19, May 31) – Guided mezcal and tequila tastings with The Lost Explorer’s brand ambassador. USD 90 per person.
- Tarot & Cocktails (March 7, April 4, May 2) – Complimentary tarot readings with featured mezcal cocktails.
- Cocktail Master Class (April 18) – Learn to craft signature cocktails in an intimate session led by Peter Sanchez. USD 90 per person.
- Earth Day Succulent Workshop (April 22) – Create a custom succulent centerpiece while enjoying cocktails. USD 50 per person.
- Desert-Inspired Afternoon Tea (March 7 – June 1) – A Southwest twist on traditional tea, with mezcal-infused desserts. Available Friday–Sunday.
Beyond the Onyx Pop-Up, the resort offers desert-inspired spa treatments, desert bathing hikes, floating sound baths, and live painting sessions with local artist William T Templeton (March 21–23). Poolside, guests can enjoy a raspado cart with frozen cocktails, and younger visitors can participate in desert-themed arts and crafts.
