Hilton achieved unprecedented growth in 2024, opening nearly 100,000 rooms and signing a record 154,000 more, resulting in a 7.3% net unit growth.
The company’s development pipeline now includes 3,600 hotels with over 498,500 rooms—an 8% increase from 2023. Hilton also began construction on 88,500 rooms, the highest in its history, solidifying its position as the global leader in new hotel builds.

Key milestones included the addition of lifestyle brands Graduate by Hilton and NoMad, the launch of a partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and further expansion of Hilton’s luxury portfolio, which features marquee properties like Waldorf Astoria and Conrad. Meanwhile, Spark by Hilton surpassed 100 operating hotels, and LivSmart Studios is set to open its first location in Indiana this summer.
Hilton now operates in 140 countries and welcomed a record 224 million guests in 2024. CEO Chris Nassetta expressed optimism for continued growth, with expectations of 6-7% net unit growth in 2025. With strong demand for travel and half a million rooms in its pipeline, Hilton is poised for sustained success.
