The Spark by Hilton hotels—Lyon Ouest, Lyon Park Saone, and Lyon Eurexpo—are set to open between late 2025 and summer 2026. These properties will cater to business and leisure travelers with practical guest room designs, bright communal spaces, and signature amenities like hydration carts and 24-hour retail markets.
Positioned near business hubs and major transport links, the hotels aim to redefine the premium economy segment with cost-effective conversions and consistent quality.
DoubleTree by Hilton Lyon Plage, scheduled for a 2028 opening, will feature 118 guest rooms, 56 extended-stay accommodations, and extensive amenities, including a restaurant, bar, and 12 conference rooms. Located along the Saône River and adjacent to a leading French spa facility, the hotel is designed to appeal to both leisure and business travelers, welcoming guests with the brand’s signature chocolate chip cookie.
Patrick Fitzgibbon of Hilton highlighted France as a priority market, with plans to grow its portfolio by over 50%. Arteloge CEO Eric Giorgi expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, which brings innovation and quality to Lyon’s hospitality landscape.
