Following a celebrated debut at Miami Art Week, a selection of life-size Indian elephant sculptures has arrived at Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale and Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach. This captivating display, in collaboration with Elephant Family USA, will remain on view through mid-March 2025.
The sculptures, part of “The Great Elephant Migration,” have traveled from Newport, Rhode Island, and New York City to South Florida. Seven sculptures are currently divided between the two Four Seasons properties, with three in Fort Lauderdale’s Terrace Gardens and four in Palm Beach’s Resort Garden.

After their Florida stop, the herd will continue westward with planned visits to Houston, Texas; Blackfeet Nation’s Buffalo Pastures in Montana; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; and Los Angeles, California.
Mali Carow, General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale, highlights the importance of raising awareness about human-wildlife coexistence through this initiative, while Mazen Saleh, General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, notes the sculptures’ ability to spark meaningful conservation discussions within the resort’s natural beauty.
Crafted by The Real Elephant Collective, a group of 200 Indigenous artisans from India’s Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, the sculptures reflect the unique features of real elephants.
Their creation celebrates generations of ecological knowledge and craftsmanship. Elephant Family USA, the project’s conservation partner, works to promote coexistence through initiatives like wildlife corridors and habitat preservation.
Visitors are encouraged to experience the sculptures firsthand and share their reflections to amplify awareness of this conservation message. To learn more about the mission or book a private dinner amid the sculptures in Fort Lauderdale, visit thegreatelephantmigration.org or call +1 754 336 3115.
