Kimpton announces a new luxury hotel and branded residences in Monterrey’s Torre Rise, set to open in 2026, featuring premium amenities and stunning panoramic views.

Kimpton Hotels, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury portfolio, has announced plans for a boutique luxury hotel and branded residences in Monterrey. Set to open in 2026, Kimpton Monterrey will be located in Torre Rise, the tallest tower in Latin America, marking the brand’s sixth property in Mexico.

Owned by Grupo Alora and operated by Marca Hotel Solutions, the development will feature 120 stylish guestrooms and 60 private residences.

Guests and residents will enjoy panoramic views of Monterrey’s stunning natural surroundings, including Cerro de la Silla and Sierra Madre mountains.

The property will offer luxury amenities such as a wellness center with an indoor pool, a spa, a 1,244-square-meter event space, and signature dining options, including a full-service restaurant and lobby lounge on the 16th floor.

Leanne Harwood, SVP of Luxury & Lifestyle Americas at IHG, emphasized the brand’s focus on delivering exceptional experiences and strengthening its presence in Mexico. Grupo Alora CEO Alejandro Chávez highlighted Monterrey’s economic and cultural significance, calling the project an opportunity to showcase Kimpton’s luxury hospitality and branded residences in a cutting-edge development.

Kimpton Monterrey joins the brand’s growing Mexican portfolio, which includes properties in Mexico City, Tulum, and Todos Santos, with additional openings planned in Riviera Maya and Polanco. Globally, Kimpton operates 78 hotels, with 57 more in the pipeline.
