Two signature restaurants at Four Seasons Hotel Doha—Curiosa by Jean-Georges and Nobu Doha—have been recognized in the inaugural Michelin Guide Doha 2025, cementing the hotel’s reputation as a top-tier culinary destination.
With 10 distinctive dining outlets, the hotel offers guests an extraordinary gastronomic journey where each meal becomes an event in itself.
The Michelin Guide, a global authority in fine dining, bases its selections on five consistent criteria: the quality of ingredients, mastery of techniques, harmony of flavors, the chef’s creative expression, and menu consistency. Both Curiosa and Nobu were selected for delivering exceptional culinary experiences that meet these high standards.

Curiosa by Jean-Georges, a lively Latin American restaurant, has quickly become a favorite in Doha since its opening two years ago. Led initially by Executive Chef Edgar Hurtado—recently promoted to Culinary Director—and now helmed by Head Chef Shreyas Kadam, the restaurant blends vibrant Latin ingredients with local Middle Eastern touches, such as turmeric tahini and date molasses, reflecting Doha’s multicultural essence.
The dynamic open kitchen brings the space to life, while the hacienda-inspired décor, bold mosaics, and lush terrace overlooking the Arabian Sea create a warm and convivial dining atmosphere.
Nobu Doha, an architectural marvel designed by Rockwell Group, stands as a landmark in Qatar’s capital. Inspired by an open oyster shell symbolizing the region’s pearl-diving heritage, the restaurant’s dramatic location on its own peninsula offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the sea and city skyline.
Under the leadership of Executive Chef Mauro Baldari, Nobu Doha delivers its renowned “new-style” Japanese cuisine in an unparalleled setting, making it the city’s go-to destination for both locals and international visitors.
Reflecting on the recognition, Edgar Hurtado, Culinary Director of Four Seasons Hotel Doha, shared, “The Michelin Guide coming to Doha is a huge moment for the city, putting its culinary scene on the global map. Having not just one, but two restaurants featured in this historic moment is incredibly meaningful.”
He continued, “Curiosa feels like my ‘child’—a project born from an idea that grew into something truly special through teamwork and heart. Seeing it celebrated on this level is deeply personal and humbling.”
Hurtado concluded, “For our guests, this recognition is about more than just Michelin stars. It’s about what they represent: unforgettable experiences and authentic, world-class flavors.”
This achievement marks a significant milestone for Doha’s culinary evolution, positioning the city as a rising force in the global food scene while showcasing the dedication, creativity, and talent of the Four Seasons Hotel Doha team.
