The grand opening featured an “Open the Umbrella” ceremony, symbolizing Nagasaki’s vibrant past as the city where Western-style umbrellas were first introduced. The hotel is located near key cultural landmarks, including the Old Glover Residence, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Oura Tenshudo, a national treasure.

The on-site restaurant, Cathedréclat, features soaring 10-meter ceilings and stunning stained-glass windows, offering a unique dining experience in a space that once served as a cathedral.
