Hilton Expands Its Presence in Egypt with Ambitious New Developments
Hilton is set to significantly grow its footprint in Egypt, tripling its presence with plans to open 25 new properties and surpass 40 hotels in the coming years.
With more than ten new signings, including the introduction of Hilton’s lifestyle brands Curio Collection by Hilton and Tapestry Collection by Hilton to Egypt, this expansion aims to create over 5,000 job opportunities while enhancing the country’s hospitality landscape.

New Developments in Cairo
Hilton’s pipeline in Cairo now includes 14 properties, featuring:
- Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi (Opening 2025): Located in Maadi, offering panoramic views of the Nile and Pyramids.
- Hilton Cairo Historic City (2027): Situated at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Magra El Oyoun, featuring 255 rooms and suites, dining venues, and fitness amenities.
- DoubleTree by Hilton Cairo Downtown (2028): In the city center, with 257 rooms, diverse dining options, and wellness facilities.
- Hilton Cairo Suez Road: Close to the airport, this 350-room property will include dining venues, meeting spaces, and a spa.
- Hilton Garden Inn Cairo West: A 220-room hotel near Sphinx International Airport and the Pyramids of Giza.
- Hilton Garden Inn New Cairo Palm East: A 126-room property in a vibrant mixed-use development in New Cairo.
Expanding Resort Destinations
Hilton is also investing in Egypt’s resort destinations, introducing its lifestyle and all-inclusive brands:
- Curio Collection by Hilton in Sharm El Sheikh (2027): Located in Neama Bay, this 165-room property will offer curated experiences and world-class dining.
- Curio Collection by Hilton in Marsa Alam (2028): A boutique villa property featuring 50 villas, outdoor pools, a spa, and a tennis court.
- Abu Dabbab Lodge, Tapestry Collection by Hilton (2025): Africa’s first Tapestry Collection property, offering an eco-friendly experience with 92 rooms, dining venues, and a diving center.
- Hilton Marsa Alam Marina – An All-Inclusive Resort: A 750-room resort with diverse dining, entertainment, and water sports options.
- DoubleTree by Hilton Alamein Marina Valley (2027): Situated on the North Coast with 182 rooms, restaurants, and event facilities.
