Four Seasons and Extell Development Company have unveiled plans for a new luxury retreat in Deer Valley East Village, North America’s first alpine village development in over 40 years.
The Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Deer Valley will seamlessly blend legendary hospitality with premier mountain living, set amidst award-winning ski terrain and the expansive 3,700-acre East Village.

Designed by ODA Architecture, the property will include 134 guest rooms and suites, along with 123 fully-serviced residences ranging from one to six bedrooms. Ski-in/ski-out access and exclusive owner amenities, including saunas, pools, and a fitness center, will redefine alpine luxury.
Situated 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, the resort boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, in-room fireplaces, and year-round recreational offerings.
Guests and residents can enjoy wellness facilities, over 50 miles of hiking and biking trails, an ice rink, sports courts, and gourmet dining at four on-site restaurants, including a ski-in/ski-out lounge with outdoor fireplaces. A ballroom, meeting rooms, and an outdoor terrace round out the event spaces.
The development aims to transform Deer Valley into one of North America’s largest ski resorts, complete with retail spaces, culinary hotspots, and après venues. Extell, known for ultra-luxury projects like Manhattan’s Billionaires’ Row and Central Park Tower, promises a collaboration that merges sophistication and functionality.
