IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of voco Bandung Setiabudi, marking the debut of the voco brand in Bandung, Indonesia. In partnership with PT Sun Land Investama and Nova Chandra, the 162-key premium hotel is set to open in 2025 along Jalan Dr. Setiabudi, a popular shopping destination near Bandung’s natural attractions.
As part of IHG’s fastest-growing premium brand, voco Bandung Setiabudi will deliver its signature welcoming charm and thoughtful amenities, offering a blend of comfort and character. Facilities will include three dining outlets, nine meeting rooms spanning over 1,000 square meters, a Health Club, Kids Club, and Business Centre.

Chris Anklin, Senior Director of Development for Southeast Asia & Korea at IHG, emphasized the hotel’s role in complementing IHG’s existing portfolio in Bandung, which includes InterContinental, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, and Hotel Indigo. “This addition aligns with our growth strategy and showcases Bandung’s cultural and natural wonders to a global audience,” he said.
With the recent launch of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway, Nova Chandra, a partner in the project, highlighted the city’s growing appeal as a vibrant cultural and artistic hub. Edwin Suriadi of PT Sun Land Investama added, “voco Bandung Setiabudi will enhance Bandung’s position as a key tourism destination.”
The voco Bandung Setiabudi joins IHG’s broader expansion plans in Indonesia, where the company operates 27 hotels across seven brands and has 15 additional properties in the pipeline.
