IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has announced the signing of Crowne Plaza Danang City Centre, a 283-room property set to open later this year in partnership with Regis Bay Vietnam Investment Joint-Stock Company.
The rebranded hotel, formerly Bay Capital Danang Hotel, will cater to the growing demand for business travel and events in Central Vietnam, offering picturesque views of the Danang landscape and Han River.
Located in Danang’s Hai Chau district, the 31-story hotel is just a 15-minute drive from Da Nang International Airport and within walking distance of key commercial and administrative centers.

Guests will enjoy proximity to cultural landmarks such as the Han and Dragon bridges, as well as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Hoi An, Hue, and My Son, less than 100 kilometers away.

The hotel’s facilities include over 500 square meters of meeting space, an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge and bar, a swimming pool, a spa, and a fitness center. Crowne Plaza Danang City Centre joins IHG’s growing presence in Vietnam, which includes Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay and Crowne Plaza Vinh Yen City Centre. This addition strengthens IHG’s commitment to Central Vietnam, where it already operates three hotels and plans to double its portfolio from 16 to over 40 properties nationwide in the coming years.
The Crowne Plaza brand continues to expand globally, with 90 hotels planned for the Asia-Pacific region, including notable openings in Bangkok, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney.
