Choice Hotels International has expanded its upscale Cambria Hotels brand, with new openings in California, Tennessee, and Washington, and groundbreakings in Missouri and Oregon.
These additions strengthen Choice’s upscale portfolio, which has seen significant growth in recent years, adding 18 Cambria properties in locations like Denver and Niagara Falls.

The latest openings include Cambria Hotels in Imperial, California; Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; and Spokane, Washington. Each hotel reflects local culture and offers modern amenities like spacious meeting rooms, dining, and proximity to local attractions.
Upcoming properties in Bend, Oregon and O’Fallon, Missouri will open by 2026, targeting demand from nearby universities, industries, and outdoor recreation hubs.
Choice’s strategic push into upscale includes its acquisition of the Radisson Americas group in 2022 and a pipeline of 62 additional hotels, including a flagship Times Square location set to open in 2025. Choice Privileges members will also enjoy expanded options with more than 1,000 upscale hotels worldwide.
This growth supports Choice Hotels’ commitment to a franchise-first model, with new tech tools for owners, such as choiceMAX for revenue management and the choiceConnect mobile portal for efficient property operations. Through Cambria, Choice is enhancing its national presence and offering travelers premium, locally inspired experiences in more U.S. destinations.
