Hotel Indigo, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury portfolio, has launched a limited-edition candle collection, “Scents of the Neighbourhood,” inspired by five vibrant locations across Australia and New Zealand.
Each candle captures the essence of neighbourhoods surrounding Hotel Indigo properties in Sydney (Potts Point), Melbourne (Flinders Lane), Brisbane (City Centre), Adelaide (Central Markets), and Auckland (City Centre).

Crafted with Australian artisans, the unique scents reflect the local atmosphere. For example, the Potts Point candle blends whiskey, rosewood, and white musk, while Melbourne’s Flinders Lane scent mixes coffee and vanilla buttercream to evoke the city’s famous laneways.
Brisbane combines eucalyptus and mint, and Adelaide’s scent reflects its multicultural markets with notes of malbec and chocolate. Auckland’s candle captures the duality of city and sea with sea salt and rum notes.
Guests who stay at participating Hotel Indigo locations until November 30, 2024, will receive one of these limited-edition candle sets as a keepsake, highlighting the brand’s deep connection to its neighbourhoods.
