Fitzgibbon highlighted that Spark by Hilton offers premium economy accommodation, catering to travelers looking to get the most out of their budgets while enjoying the reliable service Hilton is known for. Spark’s growth has been rapid, with nearly 250 hotels either in operation or development globally since the brand’s launch just 18 months ago.

Martin Winkler, CEO of Verkehrsbuero, shared enthusiasm about the partnership with Hilton, noting that it marks a significant milestone for both companies and expresses excitement to bring Spark by Hilton to Austria.

The Spark by Hilton Vienna Donaustadt will feature 198 rooms in the city’s commercial district, while the 243-room Spark by Hilton Vienna Messe Prater will be located near the Vienna Exhibition Hall and the Danube River.

Designed to serve both business and leisure travelers, the hotels will combine practicality and comfort, offering guest rooms with streamlined furniture, bright bathrooms, and multi-functional workspaces.

Public spaces will be inviting, with areas for socializing or working, and guests can enjoy amenities such as a signature Hydration Cart with complimentary water and fruit, a 24-hour retail market, and vibrant, simple design with colorful accents.

Spark by Hilton aims to provide exceptional value while maintaining a consistent guest experience. The cost-effective conversion model also makes it attractive to hotel owners and operators looking to refresh existing properties.

These two new additions will bring the total number of Hilton properties in Austria to nine, joining hotels like Hilton Vienna Plaza and Hampton by Hilton Vienna City West. Guests can also take advantage of Hilton Honors, the brand’s loyalty program, offering points, discounts, and other perks such as contactless check-in and room selection.
