Mandarin Oriental, Muscat has announced an exciting partnership with the Royal Opera House Muscat to celebrate the 2024-2025 opera season. This collaboration comes shortly after the hotel’s grand opening on June 3, 2024, establishing it as a cultural hub in the heart of Oman’s capital.

Located just minutes from the Royal Opera House in Shatti Al Qurum, Mandarin Oriental, Muscat offers an immersive experience for opera lovers. From October 3, 2024, to May 24, 2025, guests can enjoy luxury packages that combine world-class opera performances with exclusive culinary and accommodation offers.

These include a pre- and post-theatre menu at the hotel’s Italian restaurant, Essenza, and a special room package that features premium tickets to selected performances.

In a unique offering, the hotel introduces The Mandarin Oriental Balcony, a private space in the Royal Circle, offering guests a luxurious view of performances.

The Royal Opera House’s season will feature renowned productions, including Verdi’s Un ballo in Maschera, Donizetti’s La Fille du Régiment, and the ballet A Thousand and One Nights by Fikret Amirov. Cultural performances will also include concerts such as Gate of the Moon and Military Music: Oman and The World, an outdoor festival in celebration of Oman’s National Day.

General Manager Nicolas Dubort expressed his pride in partnering with the Opera House to celebrate Muscat’s vibrant culture. Umberto Fanni, Director General of the Royal Opera House, echoed this sentiment, highlighting their shared goal of positioning Oman as a premier cultural destination.
