AUBURN, Alabama – Graduate by Hilton has unveiled its first Alabama property in Auburn, a city steeped in college sports and history. Just steps from Auburn University, the new hotel features 177 guest rooms and spans 140,000 square feet.
The property includes 10,000 square feet of meeting space and two distinct dining options: The War Eagle Supper Club, a rooftop bar and restaurant, and Bo Jackson’s Beans, a coffee shop and cocktail bar created in partnership with Auburn legend and Heisman Trophy winner, Bo Jackson.

Kevin Osterhaus, president of Global Lifestyle Brands at Hilton, highlighted the hotel’s deep connection to Auburn’s culture and passionate football community. “We wanted to create a space that honors Auburn’s people and traditions,” Osterhaus said.
The hotel’s design draws inspiration from Auburn’s rich 187-year history and sports legacy, with thoughtful nods to the university throughout the public spaces and guest rooms.
Behind the reception desk, a football field installation with a soaring eagle references the famous “War Eagle” battle cry. In a nod to Auburn’s sports history, the communal lobby workspace is decorated with custom chandeliers made from footballs and baseball bats.
Bo Jackson’s Beans, located near the lobby, pays tribute to Jackson’s storied Auburn career. The café and bar are decorated with memorabilia, including a hand-carved statue of Jackson and barstools featuring his iconic jersey number, 34.
Graduate founder Ben Weprin emphasized the careful design choices: “For Auburn, the result is the physical manifestation of what it means to be an Auburn Tiger.”
The War Eagle Supper Club on the rooftop is a reimagined version of a beloved local venue where Auburn students once gathered for live music and late-night entertainment. The club’s nostalgic charm is enhanced by its infamous motto, “Cold Beer Hot Rock Expect No Mercy,” prominently displayed at the central bar. The hotel also features a replica of the original “slush bus,” a staple of the old War Eagle Supper Club, which transported students after late nights out.
In addition to its homage to Auburn traditions, Graduate Auburn is part of the Hilton Honors program and features Hilton’s cutting-edge Connected Room technology, offering guests personalized content and streaming options during their stay.
