Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has officially introduced its Trademark Collection brand to South Korea with the opening of La Vie D’or Hotel and Resort, Trademark Collection by Wyndham. This marks Wyndham’s first Trademark Collection property in the country, elevating the company’s presence in South Korea to over 30 hotels. The new addition also contributes to the nearly 20 Trademark hotels across the Asia Pacific region.

Located in Hwaseong-si, a vibrant tourism and transportation hub just 30 minutes from Seoul, La Vie D’or Hotel and Resort offers a blend of comfort and tranquility. The resort spans 330,000 square meters and features a nine-hole golf course, fitness center, saunas, swimming pools, and dining options showcasing international cuisine prepared by local chefs. The surrounding area, Jeongnam-myeon, offers picturesque landscapes, making it an ideal retreat for nature enthusiasts.

The resort’s 190 rooms and extensive convention facilities make it a prime destination for both leisure and business travelers, with easy access to major corporate hubs like Samsung Electronics and Hyundai-Kia Motors. Visitors can explore nearby attractions such as the Yungneung and Geolleung Royal Tombs and Yongjusa Temple, or take a short drive to Seoul and Suwon.

Joon Aun Ooi, President of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific, emphasized the significance of the expansion: “Hotel owners in Asia Pacific continue to see the benefits of the Wyndham Advantage—global brand exposure, innovative technology, a growing loyalty base and more. Introducing Trademark to South Korea helps independent owners maximize their opportunity in the market, while delivering the incredibly unique experiences each Trademark hotel offers guests exploring the country.”

This strategic move aligns with the growing demand for business and leisure travel in South Korea, where the tourism sector is seeing a strong recovery post-pandemic. The country welcomed approximately 11 million inbound visitors in 2023, and the travel and tourism market is projected to reach $13.66 billion by 2024.

Guests staying at La Vie D’or Hotel and Resort can participate in Wyndham Rewards, the top-rated hotel rewards program according to USA Today and U.S. News & World Report. For more information and to book a stay, visit WyndhamRewards.com.
