“Rosewood Barbuda will seamlessly blend with the island’s natural wonders, offering an intimate and captivating escape,” says Radha Arora, President of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “Collaborating with all parties involved, we aim to create an ultra-luxury resort that harmonizes with its surroundings, providing guests with a truly immersive experience.”
Spanning 85 secluded acres with 900 meters of pristine beachfront, Rosewood Barbuda will feature Rosewood’s integrative wellness concept, Asaya Spa®, offering treatments that address emotional balance, fitness and nutrition, physical therapies, skin health, and community well-being.
The spa will include six treatment rooms, a comprehensive fitness center, and two pools, one of which is family-friendly. The resort will also offer a diverse culinary program with three unique dining venues, including a farm-to-table restaurant showcasing the island’s local produce.
“Contributing to the development of Antigua & Barbuda’s hospitality sector and economy is both an honor and a responsibility,” said Kiril and Georgi Domuschiev, investors in Murbee Resorts. “With Rosewood’s impeccable standards, we are confident that guests will cherish Barbuda’s paradise beaches and exemplary hotel service as much as we do.”
Scheduled to open in 2028, Rosewood Barbuda will embody Rosewood’s A Sense of Place® philosophy, reflecting the island’s untouched natural beauty and vibrant culture.
Hon. Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, remarked, “This significant investment will substantially boost Barbuda’s local economy, providing employment and services for its citizens.
