Surrounded by the world’s fourth-largest barrier reef system, The Red Sea archipelago boasts over 90 untouched islands, providing extraordinary opportunities for snorkelling and scuba diving.

The thriving coral reefs, home to diverse marine life including dolphins, sea turtles, and Napoleon wrasse, offer a glimpse into vibrant underwater ecosystems. The island’s mangroves support rich biodiversity, attracting sea birds and marine invertebrates, while guided mainland trails lead guests across majestic desert dunes.

Designed by Foster and Partners, Nujuma features architecture inspired by shells and interiors using natural materials with sea and sand tones. The resort comprises 63 overwater and beach villas, each with private pools and dedicated personal hosts. The overwater villas, connected by an elevated walkway, offer panoramic sea views, while the beach villas are secluded retreats on soft white sands. Guests can stargaze from their villas, equipped with telescopes.

The resort offers unique cultural insights through a team of local experts, with hands-on activities in the Conservation House promoting heritage and sustainability. Dining at Nujuma celebrates local traditions, with seafood specialities at Tabrah and light dishes at Jamaa’s alfresco space. Maia offers astrology-inspired refreshments, while Sita provides all-day dining with a blend of French patisserie and Levantine cuisine.

Neyrah Spa at Nujuma focuses on holistic wellness, using regional ingredients like oud and moringa oil. The spa features sea-facing treatment rooms, outdoor cabins, vitality pools, and a fitness centre, offering bespoke treatments designed to rejuvenate and balance the body and mind.

“With the launch of Nujuma, we invite the world to discover The Red Sea destination,” said Tony Coveney, General Manager. “Nujuma offers a transformative journey set within Ummahat Island’s natural beauty, blending luxury, discovery, and sustainability.”
