Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita is celebrating Mexican craftsmanship with the launch of its own private-label tequila in collaboration with Jose Cuervo’s ultra-premium Reserva de la Familia.
Once reserved only for the Cuervo family, this limited-edition añejo blend now offers guests an exclusive taste of heritage and artisanal mastery.
Crafted at Latin America’s oldest active distillery, La Rojeña, the tequila is made from 100% organic Blue Weber agave, slow-cooked in traditional ovens and fermented with volcanic spring water from Tequila, Jalisco.

Double-distilled in copper stills and aged nearly three years in rare Colombian oak barrels—a first for tequila—the result is a rich, velvety spirit with deep complexity.
“This partnership allowed us to create something that honors and redefines tradition,” said John O’Sullivan, Regional VP and GM of Four Seasons Punta Mita. “It’s a reflection of Mexican heritage and the elevated experiences our guests expect.”
The tequila offers layered aromas of cocoa, chai, banana, and cinnamon, with notes of honey and dried fruit and a warm, smooth finish. Each of the 1,248 bottles—hand-labeled, wax-sealed, and numbered—is drawn from just four exclusive barrels, making this a truly collectible release that won’t be reproduced.
Guests can enjoy the tequila neat or in curated cocktails across all dining venues, including the reimagined signature restaurant, Aramara. Bottles are also available for purchase at the resort boutique, Hakari, which will host exclusive tastings to share the spirit’s story and craft.
