TOKYO – Hilton, Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd., and TBS Holdings, Inc. have announced the signing of Canopy by Hilton Tokyo Akasaka, a new hotel set to open in 2028 as part of a major mixed-use development directly connected to Akasaka Station.
Marking the brand’s debut in Tokyo and the Kanto region, Canopy by Hilton Tokyo Akasaka will occupy the 7th to 18th floors of an 18-story tower and feature 174 guest rooms, including 24 suites.

Highlights include a restaurant and bar, a terrace café with panoramic city views, a 77-square-meter meeting lounge, and a 24-hour fitness center. The project, led by Mitsubishi Estate and TBS, will also house theaters, halls, and commercial spaces, positioning Akasaka as a new hub for entertainment.

Executives from Mitsubishi Estate and TBS emphasized the partnership’s role in enhancing Akasaka’s cultural and historical appeal, creating a vibrant destination for visitors from Japan and abroad.
Canopy by Hilton Tokyo Akasaka will join Hilton Honors, allowing members to enjoy exclusive benefits when booking directly through Hilton channels.
